The Key to Flexibility

For those of you out there thinking, "Boy, I wish I could do that!" All you have to do is bite your toenails, on a regular basis. At least that is how Malachi keeps up his flexibility. I have tried to get him to stop, but like any bad habit, it is hard to break. A year ago, when I was talking to him and telling him what a bad habit it is to bite your toenails (even worst than biting your fingernails, which he also does), he told me that pushing people off of tall buildings is even a "worse habit". I had to agree; I would much rather him bite his toenails than push people off of tall buildings (if you can even consider that a habit).

Looking on the positive side...I can honestly say that I have never had to clip is fingernails or toenails...

Notice his "Cheeto thumbs"?

As you can see, the tooth fairy has been very busy lately...Malachi lost all three of these teeth in about a five day span. I love the way that he pushes his tongue through the gaps. It brings back some fond memories (back to when I was in the first grade).

I have a hard time getting Malachi to give me a real smile while taking his picture (as seen in the previous two pictures), but I was able to get him to give me a real smile in this one because I showed him the pictures that I took of him with his feet behind his head (he thought that was pretty funny).

eww that's super gross! Brandon and Tyler hardly ever wear socks and their toe nails are so nasty..but I'm sure Malachi's stay a big more clean--

That's cool that you don't have to trim his nails-that's something boys just seem to busy for-it's a pain to make them sit down and we do it!

What's with this nasty weather we've got-it's crummy!

I hope you're parents are doing okay.

What fun pictures! He is such a cute kid. Wish I could be as flexible, but I am trying to drop all of my bad habits, not start up any new ones! ;)

Malachi's response is SO funny! I would love to have him in my class! Quintin and I were just asking eachother the other day if we could put our feet behind our heads, neither one of us thought we could, so we didn't try! Good Job Malachi!

Hey! Yeah, it is SUCH a relief to finally know what is going on. Araleigh's VUCG went very well actually. Cory is really good with talking to her about things that are going to happen . . .so she was very brave. It was terrible to watch though-- but you'd know how taht goes. So are you and Roger still doing the he is in Utah ur in Idaho thing?? How is it going??
