In need of some prayers...

This has been a rough month for our family...Besides the fact that we have been trying to sell our house for the past nine months, my parent's have both been diagnosed with some serious illnesses in the last few weeks. My dad has been diagnosed with insulin dependent diabetes and this past Wednesday my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer. I think we are all in shock. My mom is only 50 and she feels great, so it is hard to believe that her body is so full of cancer. She starts her chemo this Friday and we are unsure of what the future holds, but we are trying our best to be optimistic...It is at times like these that I am the most grateful for my testimony. I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and for his atonement. I'm grateful that I can turn to my loving Heavenly Father and find peace under any circumstance. And I am so thankful that families can be forever...

I am so sorry to hear about your families trials. I actually ran into your mom on Saturday and only got to talk to her for a moment, my kids were out of control. Now I regret that and wish I could have talked longer. Please send her my love and prayers, and my love and prayers to your father and all your family! Let me know if you need to talk. Keep your head up.
