She's finally here...

We are so excited that Adeline is safely here. Adeline is such a sweet little baby, we love her so much and feel so blessed to have her as part of our family. She fits right in and it feels like she has always been with us.

Adeline surprised me...She is bigger than I thought she would be, making her my second biggest baby (Malachi weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz.), so we are glad that she was a few days early. I am also grateful that I was able to have a complication free labor, avoiding some of the complications that I had with my first two (two cervical lacerations and a placenta that didn't deliver spontaneously). And I was blessed with a great labor experience. I really hate epidurals, they make me feel pretty horrible, and so I was able to stick it out and go natural, which I highly recommend. Even though my labor was 9 hours long the intense pain was for only about 30 or 40 minutes (with rests in between the contractions)and I felt great after. I was able to walk around right away and go see Adeline in the nursery.

Below: The labor has just begun...don't I look like I am having fun?

Our family of six, together for the first time.

Getting ready to go home.

Oh she is so cute! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WENT NATURAL! You're my hero. Mine hit hard at 10:30 and I was dying for an hour an a half before I got my epidural--- by the time I had Canden I wouldn't have made it! haha. She is adorable and you look great . . . you will be like in your size 0 in no time! haha Hope its going well. Right now I am currently trying to get past the screaming stage of nursing! My milk came in today and I want to cut them off! haha

Congratulations! She is a beautiful newborn! Are you going to call her Adi for short? My name is Adriana, but most every knows me as Adie. You are tough! I don't ever want to go natural! She's a great addition to your family - and does fit right in!

Yeah, I was lucky to get in when I did too at Mtn View. I was the ONLY one in Labor on Sunday until that night . . then the next day Cory came back from the car and said "there are like 7 pregnant women waiting to be admitted down there" I was like PHEW . . glad I got it when I did!!! Okay, my breastfeeding hasn't been as bad as yours if you are bleeding like that- YOUCH! I am starting to blister and I think I am actually clogged on one side-- which has been KILLING me all day. I can't believe you guys are moving. That is nuts about his job though. Looks like we are all in a tight spot these days. That sucks you have to uproot and do it all yourself with 4 kids. I can't function with two hardly. Have you found a place to live down in SLC? What are you listing your house at? Man, you have a crazy month ahead of you. Hope you can get through it smoothly. You'll have to keep your blog updated to keep in touch! (k this is long so I will say goodnight!)

Congrats! And way to go with the natural delivery, I have seen and heard how great it is after delivery from going natural, I wish I could do it, but I don't think they have natural c-sections! She is so cute, just like your other sweet kids! Oh, and what a darling name!

Nope, I don't believe you. There is a basketball under that blue shirt, I can tell. You know how? Because your butt isn't 3 feet wide like every other preggo gal. Oh fine, if it weren't for that "I'm so excited to be in labor" picture, I wouldn't believe you because you look too stinkin' hot to be pregnant! But congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is adorable and beautiful!!!

She is so beautiful - and I love her name - great choice. I absolutely loved the picture of you before you had her - where you're clasping your hands - it was so cute that it made me laugh. Congrats - love you - can't wait to see you soon (I hear you're moving...) Love ya, Kris

Congratulations!!! What a beautiful family you have. I am a MOM and homeschool teacher to my 7 blessings. I love natural childbirth, although my last baby was stuck (hand over her head) and I had to have an emergency c-section. Hope you are well. I really enjoyed reading your blog:) Blessings,
